Australian Video Game Sales up 10% in H1 2009 (GfK)

GfK Australia spokesman Andrew Milgate says game sales rose 10 per cent in the first half of this year despite the dire financial times, making for a "strong performance".

He says Australians already own 2.5 million next-generation games consoles, including the PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360.
