These figures were announced at IDEF 2010 in France. GfK France held their annual conference there this afternoon, so if like previous years we can look forward to some French YTD hardware and software updates.

AESVI, the Italian Software Publishers Association now publish the official GfK Italian console and PC charts on their website. An archive is conveniently included too, although it presently only goes back one week.

DS breaks Italian annual record (GfK)

DS sold nearly 900,000 units in Italy last year according to Nintendo based on GfK data, breaking the long standing PS2 annual record in the process.

SCE Italy boast about PS3 percentage increase

SCE Italy claim PS3 sales according to GfK for the last four months of 2009 were up 84% on the same period in 2008. Unfortunately they don't reveal any actual unit sales numbers, instead they say that Uncharted 2 is now the second best selling first party PS3 game in the country behind Gran Turismo 5: Prologue, and that the new Gran Turismo 5 demo and Vidzone have been downloaded a lot.
