Microsoft shipped 1.2m Xbox 360s last quarter to put total shipments at 31.4m. The software attach rate of 8.6 suggests lifetime software shipments of 270m, however, previous software and accessory attach rates quoted in quarterly results say "per US NPD", so this is most likely a US only sell-through attach rate rather than a worldwide shipment attach rate.
Financially the Entertainment and Devices Division which includes Xbox lost $130m during the quarter, but still managed to see an operating income of $169m for the full year.
