ESAC Release "Essential Facts About the Canadian Computer and Video Game Industry (2009)"

ESAC have released their annual report on the Canadian video game industry, unfortunately unlike previous years this year's contains no market data. Thus I have yet to see any market data for total software units or value in 2008. From a previous article it's known that the overall market for Software, hardware, and accessories was worth C$2.09b in 2008 with 3.1m units of hardware sold.

It seems that Canadian data is hard to come by these days, with nothing released since an overall market report for Q1 '09, and no hardware numbers released since 2008.

The report did however contain top 20 software charts for the year ending in July;
